Bodegas Beronia is quintessentially Rioja. Our
wines are defined by the region in which the vines are grown, and our name is
linked to the history of the area.
During the 3rd Century BC the region in Spain today known as La Rioja Alta was
inhabited by the ‘berones’, a
Celtic tribe who called the area “Beronia”. The winery was founded in 1973 by a gastronomic
society whose great love of food and wine attracted them to the idea of producing
their own Rioja, in the purest most traditional Rioja style. We have been part of the
Gonzalez Byass family since 1982. Bodegas Beronia is situated in Ollauri, in the
Rioja Alta. The winery is a pioneer in the use of mixed barrels, with American
oak staves and French oak ends. We produce a full range of classic Rioja wines, including Tempranillo, crianza, reserva, gran reserva, and our singular flagship bottling, the illustrious "III a.C.". All
of our wines offered here have been properly imported, carefully
handled, and are available for immediate shipment directly from our U.S.
stocks. We hope you enjoy our wines!
