St. Joseph, a winemaking region in the Northern Rhone is noted for its sturdy, full-bodied red wines made from the Syrah grape. The Saint Joseph vineyards lie on the right bank, opposite from the famous vineyards of Hermitage. Les Chailles is introduced by Caves des Papes wines, where the passionate quest for making Rhone valley wines was born in the vineyards of Chateauneuf-du-pape. This is a wine to be enjoyed and appreciated because of the patience, tradition and know-how it took to develop it.
