Located in the heart of the prestigious "Côte des Blancs" for three generations, on renowned soils listed as Grands Crus such as Avize, Cramant and Oger, Champagne De Sousa has both genuine and certified origins. Since 1986, Michelle and Erick De Sousa have been running the compagny.
When the vine rooting is deep, the taste of the soil is stronger. Likewise, the deeper the root is, the less need there is for fertilizers, maximizing the quality of the grapes. Because Erick uses the oldest methods taught to him by his father, he opts for malolactic fermentation to soften his wines and he uses the old technique of a -4°C cold period with the aim of obtaining the greatest possible clarity.
